Thorson to Make NASCAR K&N Pro Series Debut with Young's Motorsports at Bristol
As part of the partnership with Team Dillon and GoShare, up and coming dirt standout, Tanner Thorson, will make his first start for Young’s Motorsports. Thorson will pilot the No. 28 Maestro’s Classic® Chevrolet SS in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) race at Bristol Motor Speedway this Saturday for the Zombie Auto 150.
Team Dillon Partners with GoShare and Young's Motorsports for 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season
“In partnership with Team Dillon, we have put together an exciting schedule for 2018,” said team principal, Tyler Young. “The venture will feature both Austin and Ty Dillon, as well as Daniel Hemric and Team Dillon development driver, Tanner Thorson, in the No. 20 GoShare Chevrolet Silverado for a total of 17 races.”
Thorson Takes Top Five, Earns Multiple Awards at Chili Bowl
Tanner Thorson scored a fourth place finish and numerous awards following his debut with the Dooling Hayward Motorsports/Richard Childress Racing No. 63 team, with partner Overkill Motorsports, at the 2018 Chili Bowl Nationals. Thorson collected two Jason Leffler “Elbows Up” awards, after Thursday’s efforts and Saturday’s top five finish, as well as the “Hard Charger” award for the second consecutive year.
TANNER THORSON is the pilot of the Dooling Hayward Motorsports/Richard Childress Racing No. 63 midget and the TRI-C Motorsports No. 3C wing sprint car. The 21-year-old Minden, Nevada native shows a strong passion for being behind the wheel of, well, just about anything. He began racing outlaw karts at age four and after earning various championships by age 15, Thorson proved he was more than ready to advance through the ranks....
